Sister just gave me 3 pair of african crowned crane

So a week ago my sister informed me there she and her husband were calling it quite; anyhow she also at the same time dropped off their 3 pairs of black crowned crane... i placed them in the pen with my 2 african geese 7 tragopan and 12 sumatras (side note last year i got 2 sumatras from this guy a few mile north of me by the end of the last summer i hatched 15 but only 10 made it of that bunch) anyway how they are beind a 8 foot fence ( we have coyotes which is why the fence is so high) other then feeding them the feed my sister gave me for them and buying more of that feed i have no idea what to do with them... ive been having trouble getting ahold of my sister so well here i am... only thing i know about these birds is that a few years ago she started with 2 pair and her 3rd pair where the young of her 1st 2 pair.... any imput/ idea or advice would be most welcome

I wish we had more game bird experts on the forum to help you with your questions. I second the notion of checking out gbwf.org. They have some good info and a lot of serious breeders in the forums.

I understand this post is old, but i was wondering how you made out with your cranes?
